Everything we do serves one purpose.
preventing Depression, anxiety, trauma-related illness and suicide by changing the social conditions that drive them.
Four programs, all free, all public.
PROGRAM 1: FREE PREVENTATIVE EDUCATION RESOURCES
Articles, fact sheets, videos and guides explaining the links between discrimination, stigma and isolation and the development of depression, anxiety and trauma-related disorders and the evidence-based ways to strengthen protection against them.
Written in simple English, this content is free for everyone and designed for easy sharing.
PROGRAM 2: THE YARNS — INTERVIEWS & STORYTELLING
Recorded conversations with Elders, community members and people with lived experience, made with informed consent and cultural safety protocols.
Each yarn focuses on the cultural practices and connections that protect against depression, anxiety and suicide — and on breaking down the stigma and discrimination that put people at risk.
Published free, with transcripts and captions.
Status: In production, first episodes coming in August 2026.
PROGRAM 3: ONLINE PUBLIC EDUCATION SESSIONS
Free live sessions on recognising early signs of depression and anxiety, understanding risk and protective factors, and having safe conversations that help people seek support early.
Every session is recorded and published afterwards, so nobody misses out,
wherever you live.
Status: First sessions are planned for November 2026; subscribe to the newsletter to be invited.
PROGRAM 4: LET'S YARN DAY
A free annual public event combining prevention education with genuine community connection, storytelling, workshops and the chance to meet the services that are there for you.
Because isolation is a risk factor, a room full of people who show up for each other is the opposite of isolation.
Let's Yarn Day, Saturday 8 May 2027, Illawarra NSW, venue to be confirmed.
