The Yarns is our interview and storytelling series:
“Real conversations about what keeps people strong.”
We sit down with Elders, community members and people with lived experience of mental ill-health and recovery, and yarn about the things that protect mental health: culture, identity, belonging and connection — and about the discrimination, stigma and isolation that put it at risk.
Every yarn is recorded with informed consent and in accordance with cultural safety protocols. Participants review their story before anything is published and can withdraw at any time before release.
Episodes are published for free, with transcripts and captions.
First episodes coming in Nov 2026.
